For the Fall Equinox
Friday, September 21st, 2007Dear Relatives,
Gratitude to our 4-legged relatives
With your soft warm fur
And your sometimes stubby, sometimes sinuous furred tails
Furry ears
Long pink tongues
Finely chiseled, gleaming, white teeth
And your handsomely crafted paws
You know who you are
You are a gift of the ancestors
You are the essential link to the 7th generation
7 generations behind us
And 7 generations in front of us
You are this present moment
Being born
Decaying
Right now
Gratitude is more powerful than anger
Deeper rooted than fear
Don’t worry about what you may lose
Gratitude is what we choose
When we look in the mirror
Who do we see?
The faces of our 4-legged relatives
Happy being free?
With abundant Love and Bear Hugs,
Paul
“My Paw is Sacred.
The Medicinal Herbs are abundant.
My Paw is Sacred.
All things are Sacred.”
